Academic Behavioral Alternatives

Since 1995, ABA has provided private special education programming and services focused on supporting students with targeted academic and behavioral needs.  ABA responds to the identified needs of School Districts, with the purpose of providing special education placement, program development, consultation, and related-services for students with special needs.  As a state-approved Private Special Education Organization, we are compliant with State and Federal regulations regarding the provision of special education and related-services.

Our mission is to provide school districts and families with positive, pro-active, and evidence-based solutions which maximize students' individual potential.  To accomplish this, ABA has developed a unique and highly effective model of providing targeted academic and behavioral interventions for students of all abilities.  We focus on supporting the "whole child" through a combination of academic, social, behavioral, and therapeutic supports.  We tailor the model to align with each individual student's needs, as defined in the Individual Education Plan (IEP); and, we use data to drive key decisions regarding students' ongoing abilities, performance, and need for special services.

ABA Celebrates 15 years of Private Special Education Service provision in Arizona.

During the 2009/2010 School Year, ABA returned over 35% of its students with Emotional/Behavioral Disorders to a Less Restrictive Environment (LRE); see more of our results here.
