We support the whole child through a combination of academic, social, behavioral, and therapeutic supports
ABA currently operates four state-approved private special education day schools in Arizona. These schools have been developed in response to the identified needs of school districts for the purpose of providing special education placement and programming for students whose behaviors have become too complex to manage in a larger public school environment.
Our goal for each student is to develop the skills necesary to support a full transition back to the school/district's least restrictive environment. We work with the home school and district through the IEP process to establish goals, services, and supports which facilitate this process.
ABA strives to build relationships with students and their families. We work to become a source of support and information for our families, through parent nights, workshops, and parent trainings on various topics including: Accessing Community Resources, Understanding the Special Education Process, Voc-Rehab, and Accessing Post-Secondary Education. For the 2009/2010 School Year, our Parent/Family Satisfaction Rating for ABA Schools was over 90%; click here to see some comments from our Parents/Families. Additionally, we successfully transitioned over 35% of our students placed with Emotional/Behavioral needs back to Districts' less restrictive environments. More data on our performance can be viewed by clicking here.
